Its definitely not pro-rata as its the advertised price rather than a quoted one (though the price I was quoted was that per year too). January 2014 is when I'll be 30. I could afford a 1000 sub if I liked the course, except at the moment my better half and I are saving for our Sep 2013 wedding so money is a little tighter than normal. Given the issues people seem to have with them, I'm wondering whether its worth getting a season ticket at Sherdley for practice and join in with the muni club until I'm more experienced and in a position to better appreciate the more expensive course.

I think ours is about 850/875, but is right by junction 5 of the M62/junction of the M57 - I dont know how far that is from you though.

Grange park is nice but tough, I think someone said that they still have a joining fee though, but may be wrong.
