Out in 35, 1 under, with a bogey and 2 birdies. Back in 35, 1 under, with a bogey and 2 birdies. FIR 12 out of 14. GIR... only 10 out of 18. A Hot putter as usual.

HDID results show me winning Div 1 by 4 shots!! Gobsmacked!!

Must have inspired each other up in Yorkshire, Brian!

A couple of weeks after that I shot 72 (1-over) in a comp at Crowborough with bogeys on the last 2 holes. Even had a 10-footer on 14 to get to 2-under gross which would have been uncharted territory for me that late in a round!

Still pretty pleased despite the closing bogeys as I got a 0.7 cut back down to 5.2 which is my lowest for a long time

Almost felt like a proper golfer for three or four hours that morning!

See you at West Hill tomorrow where I will probably shoot 85...
