I went to Asda and bought black shoe polish to disguise my stoopidity.

I spent ages trying to choose a "flight bag" for my clubs (1995?) weighing up all the pros and cons. I bought one, drove home and admired the thing in the lounge all evening.

Next day, I took it back. 20 hours later.

The chap remembered me and asked why I'd changed my mind, and if I wanted a different one.

Sadly, I had to ask him for a credit note.......It had taken me 18+ hours to work out the niggle in the back of my head.

I wasn't flying anywhere, we were driving across Europe!
