Does anyone actually give a flying #### about this?

Is anyone on here actually going to watch it or worse still stand in the street and wave a bloody flag?

As you may have guessed I couldn't care less about any of......really can't understand why folk are remotely bothered about it never mind the cocks that have spent many a $ to travel and witness a glimpse of it.

Oh,I hope is slashes down on Friday.

The royal wedding was last friday, when I got married.

being serious, I couldn't care about the royals so wont be tuning in. I have a round booked at 11.30 and will be cleaning my clubs before that

No, I couldn't care less. I quite like William and Harry, they appear to be quite normal. Kate, on the other hand, is a money grabbing gobsh1te who should be shot in the face!!

She needs to pop out a couple of kids (male first) otherwise she'll go the same way as Diana.

I'm looking after my kids on Friday as the Wife is at a works party on Thursday night. Once she's sobered up I'm off up the driving range/golf club........ :D

My sentiments exactly. Wish them well but I've never even eatched my own wedding video on tv so sure as sh*te not going to watch someone elses on the tv!!

I see in the paper that some folk turned up on MONDAY morning to camp out for a good spot to watch. Should be rounded up and executed.
 
IMO the only good thing about the Royals is as a Tourist attraction for the UK, which they undoubtably are.

However, I wont be wasting my day watching, I shall be at the Golf Club, as will most of us it seems :cool:

To say that she should be "shot in the face" is a bit extreme. That sort of thing should be reserved for Welsh sports commentators like Jonathan Davies and (the new kid on the block) Terry Griffiths.
 
It always strikes me as strange that people post / talk about things that they're not bothered about. There are lots of things I'm not bothered about, which is why I don't talk about them

The Americans would love a royal family, but fall back on ours by proxy

The Royal family are worth millions in tourist revenue each year. People are coming from all over the world to watch a little bit of History being made, for a "I Was There" moment.

The hundreds of thousand coming to London all have to travel, eat etc and many will be staying in town giving the tourist industry an early boost.

Those of you wishing for a republic are just jealous

The pagentry and ceremony are things that no other country possesses. And we should be proud of our traditions. and as for shooting Kate in the face, that remark is just stupid.

There are lots of bad things happening in this country and in the world, we have an event going on that will produce a massive feel good factor around the globe, lets embrace it!

I'm with Phil on this, not necessarily for the same reasons - and I am definitely NOT watching.

the last thing I'd want is a republic - who are you going to put in as a head of state? some superannuated failed politician eg smarmy git Blurr - which he wanted to be!

But won't be watching.....it's prime golfing time at Oulton Hall for 2 days......

I am with Phil too on this and I will probably watch bits of it before either heading to the course for a knock, or doing something with the family.
 
im all for them getting married but why did we have to have another 4 day weekend on the bounce. the eeconamy is on its arse right now, and for many small business this is the last thing we need, another 4 days closed.

My business is a off road motorcycle spares company, thanks to the snow turn over for december and early jane was 60% down, and now 2 double bank holidays on a trott has not helped me one bit. i would be behind one day in celebration, IE the friday, but given that we have just had 4 days off, another 4 day weekend has hit me right in the pocket.

Looks like some of us tax payers will pay for the wedding in more than just our taxes!

They seem like a nice couple but if a daughter of mine was marrying into such a dysfunctional family I'd keep it quiet, not put it on tele. If the yanks love the royals so much they can have them.

Why is it a stupid remark?? I don't like her or her 'social climbing' Mother. To me, they are one of the lowest form of human life and, as a result, should be treated accordingly.

I like the Queen - I think she's done an excellent job for this country.

The rest of the royals?? They behave like a cross between a family from Eastenders and one from 'The only way is Essex'!!!
 
Do you want everyone "shot in the face" who you don't like ? I would have thought there are plenty of other more deserving candidates for your title of "lowest form of human life", drug dealers, rapists, paedophiles to name a few, but hey, we're all entitled to an opinion
