I think you are selling yourself and Scotland a wee bit short there.
We are more than capable of standing on our own two feet.
Norway is a perfect example of what we could achieve if we went it alone - and by that I mean not being part of the E.U.
They have a similar size of population than us an access to the same sort of resources - North Sea oil and gas, fishing(without bizarre E.U restrictions), renewable energy.
You sir are deluded, how long has Norway had the sole income from oil & gas? How much longer will the oil & gas fields last? People that genuinely believe that Scotland would be better off independent and not in europe are IMO mental. Taxes would be at least 50% of income to pay for what is there at present.
As for your attitude towards two young people getting married - disgraceful

OK, my 'shot in the face' comment has caused offense and for that I'm sorry. Truly I am.
I use this phrase all the time in general, everyday parlance and I don't actually mean that the object of my venom be shot in the face - it's more a metaphorical saying - if that makes sense.....
For what it's worth, I watched the whole royal wedding because my young Daughter and Wife wanted to watch it. I found it very entertaining. I still don't care much for the royals but, as BobMac says, live and let live.
So, I apologise again for any offense - absolutely none was meant and, as I said earlier, I don't actually want anyone shot in the face...
