• We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!

That wedding

I can only assume you are in favour of your country breaking International Law and illegally invading another sovereign nation, after your Prime Minister has lied?

Wasn't it your countries Parliament and your Prime Minister too - and wasn't he Scottish ! So don't taint us with your rubbish!

Chris

No it wasn't my countries Parliament who gave the go ahead for the illegal invasion, it was the Westminster Parliament, not Holyrood.

It was my Prime Minister, yes.Tony Blair infact, who's English, not Scottish.

I believe that decisions of Parliament in London are binding on Scotland too after all we have enough MP's from Scotland elected there and Holyrood didn't have sovereignty over that particular decision.

Also, wasn't Tony Blair born in Edinburgh on the 6th May 1953 that make him a Scot as far as I am concerned!

Love what exactly?

I got one irrelevant detail wrong.Yes, I hold my hands up and admit I didn't know he was born in Edinburgh.I don't really blame Chis for wanting to disown such a despicable and evil individual though.

Let's not get too sidetracked though.I was asked how I felt about the British armed forces, and I answered.I think I've made a good case about why I'm a bit lukewarm towards them - i.e I'm not really a big fan of illegal invasions or war crimes.
