That dodgy US Ryder Cup Logo

Anyone discovered yet why the US team apparel over the last couple of days didn't bare the official Ryder Cup logo?

The Ryder Cup website shows the proper official logo on all US team merchandising they're selling... obviously. I thought they would have been contractually obliged.

They went for the retro look.

Apparently all the US teams clothing was designed by Corey's wife and a lot of yanks were upset with the lurid mauve pullovers as they were an un-American colour

I can understand the wife designing the clothes and picking the colours, even if they were the usual US fashion nightmare.....but substituting the proper logo with one that her kids doodled in crayon is taking it too far. Harumph.

I thought the waterproofs where funny, all they had to do was borrow some Rory wigs and they wouldnt have fit out of place in Liverpool!!
