Tesco Hudl anyone?

Planning to get a tablet for my folks, so that they can Skype us. Top priority is ease of use and Skype. Had a look at a few ones. Good reviews on the Tesco Hudl, but have also seen reports of issue with using Skype on Hudl. Does anyone use the Hudl and knows if Skype is still a problem?

Herself has a Hudl and is more than pleased with it... She doesn't use Skype much but advises she is less than impressed with it when 'Skyping' compared to friends iPad...

Got the kids a hudle each at xmas (BYGOF) with clubcard points....

Im not sure if they skype on them, i think they do, and one has had a problem with the charge port. But overall they have been great, if only to stop them hoggiong my ipad...

Tnx.. Interesting option.. i had a quick look at Amazon. About £100 more for 2 year old model that is on OS 6 and looks like ex-US shipment. It could be an option, but I think the way iOS 7 and all the bloatware that goes around, the hardware may struggle to keep up.

Hudl still the first choice at the mo..

I got the kids a hudl for xmas, as I work away i skype them a lot from abroad, the picture is very grainy if that's a word, look into something with a better camera.I'm investing in a couple of samsungs

The Hudl itself is excellent value for money, the camera does let it down but everything else for £99 is very good.

Apple iPad is much better of course but at 3 times the price
