Stuart, a good leader should never ask his men to do something he cant do equally as good or better, he has to set the limits!

summed it up in a nutshell Tony!

We are not allowed a kettle as we do not have a sink at this end of the buliding, so it is against health and saftey.

So coffe machine for my team the coffee is an aquirered taste but once your used to it, it is passable.

easy to make a round thoughcup under, pour water, still try to get others to do it though....come to think of it it must be time.

I used not to mind making the tea or coffee at work. But I was the only one who kept their mug clean. Which meant that if you're doing a round, you've also got to do all the washing up! Not on in my book.

I resolved the issue with a Tassimo machine that I won. Well I was the only prolific coffee drinker! The rest can wash they're own mugs.

Good morale boost when the chief makes a brew though.

Beverages should be drunk cold, like beer. In fact, beer is by far the best drink ever invented.

WORD!

AHMEN! I hate Tea! I very occasionally have a decaf coffee. Really cant get my head around how people can drink hot drinks when its hot outside.

Beer in winter or to relax after golf etc

Larger to get boozed

Cider to enjoy in the sun

Wine with food or social drink

Spirits night caps and to push boundaries when drunk

and beer was invented to enable people to drink contaminated water (and have a fun time while so doing).

- why did granny tell you to warm the pot?
it had nothing to do with brewing the tea (though it does improve them), it was because if you poured boiling water into the early teapots their bottoms would fall out!

green tea should not be steeped in boiling water as it scalds the leaf and becomes bitter. (it should be about 1 min off the boil)

There's a guy at our place who generally gets the brews on at breaktime.
Most drink tea but a couple drink coffee.
On more than one occasion this fella has stirred the coffee then stirred the tea with the same spoon.
You then get a hybrid coffee/tea drink......bloody rank!

That is just totally wrong and well deserving of a public flogging!

I have tried coffee so many times and in many styles, even my Turkish friends cant make coffee I like, even when laced with alcohol coffee is jank.

I am a coffee drinker and I love latte. Mcdonalds ( surprisingly) do a terrific latte ( aribica coffee, full fat milk).

I drink a good few cups a day ( the cup is half full now) but no matter how much I love my coffee,I have to have a strong tea when I eat breakfast. Tea tastes 10 times better after a full English, why???

I love good coffee & I love good tea.

Nothing worse that Coffee or tea that has been stewed.

Earl Grey is a great tea imo, though I like many others too.

As for coffee Dancing Goat & Monsoon Malabar are perhaps two of the best all round beans.

Don't drink Instant if I can at all help it.

Oh & I try not to mix, i.e. drink tea & coffee within the same part of the day, otherwise it repeated visits become the order of the day.

oh btw stiring tea & coffee with the same spoon, without first washing it, is just plain wrong.
