Well i got sucked into the hype by it and it's safe to say I'm not overly impressed. Im not the best wood player in fact I'm awful but I have a strange bond with my 910f even though it's for "better players" i can't find anything as easy to hit or that I can rip as far. Only thing is I want more consistency off the deck which is why I've been looking around. I think the compact head appeals well to my eye.
I thought I'd try the m2 after hearin all the claims and I couldn't hit it off the deck at all and off the tee was inconsistent as hell... May be different not up the range but off mats I was not a lover. Anyone else not a lover or just me?
All my other bats are callaway so tempted to try an XR and see how that is.

I love my 10.5 driver, I got sucked into the hype to a degree as it was replacing a 15 year old r510 and I was hoping for instant results.

As as with any club, it's not going to make you instantly better but in the 3 weeks of ownership I'm definitely bonding well with it.

Noise is a little unique but when you catch a good one, my God does it go - at least 30-40 yards further than my previous bests.

I've been after an M2 wood, might be interested in taking yours off your hands if you decide to sell. Drop me a PM with details if you are!

Yeah ok Chad will do. Going to give it a fair go on the course as may have different results in a gaming situation rather than banging balls for the sake of it.
To be fair I think I was expecting miracles first few shots and wasn't immediately amazed. Just didn't feel great even on well struck ones

If you love your titleist 910f why not try the newer 915f? I love mine so easy to hit off the deck and off the tee it sends the ball away like a bullet best 3 wood ive ever used

A few weeks ago I tried the M2, Ping G and Callaway 815 3 woods. I expected to like and buy the Taylormade M2 based on reviews I'd seen online and read. I had previously tried the TM aero burner 3 wood and didn't like the way that felt or sounded even though the ball went a good distance. I didn't really like the sound or feel of the M2, was surprised that I didn't like the ping either and also surprised that it didn't go as far as either the M2 or the Callaway.

I ended up getting the Callaway as it went as far as the M2, felt great to hit and sounded great plus the ticket price was £50 cheaper. With the moveable weight in the callaway you can put the heavier weight at the back of the head giving more forgiveness.

Im not a fanboy of either TM or Callaway and expected to prefer the Ping. It worked out well for me to try before I bought.
