Not sure Taylormade have a Hot Metal...do you mean Mizuno?
Basically, any shaft is good for any player if it fits their swing speed, tempo and a hist of other things

I've just looked at an Ad for set of RAC irons with (Quote) Taylormade Hot metal 95 g Reg shaft.

OK.. just found it....not heard of it before.
The above still stands....its a regular flex steel shaft which may be just right, too soft or too stiff..
The only way to know is to try and hit it....
I doubt there's much info about it anywhere - a quick Google didn't pull anything ..

Thanks, I googled and searched TM shafts also and found nothing apart from Ads for irons fitted with it.

The closest shaft is probably a True Temper Dynalite GOLD ( an older shaft no longer made)

Nothing really wrong with that shaft just try it.

I played the TT Dynamic Gold lite for years with great success and in more recent times the Dynamic Gold SL.

I would expect the modern equivalent to be something like XP95.
