Taylormade 'Bubble' irons

I have acquired at auction a set of Taylormade R80 Firesole irons with Bubble shafts They had been fairly lightly used and are cleaning up very nicely. Can any one tell me anything about these? They have tungsten weights in the soles and look like oversize 'improver' clubs. I would think that when new they would have been regarded as good quality and fairly expensive. Looking on the Taylormade website the only info I can see find is that bubble shafts came in about 1996.

If I remember the Firesole was a very decent set back in the day, not "Tour" quality I think but a pretty good set nonetheless...
Pretty rare now I would think - came out late 90's...?

I had the super steel bubble irons, still a very strong club with true lofts, not as soft of the face but boy do these go.
