Usually i would play with lake balls, just for costs sake, and never believed all the rubbish written about Golf Balls i thought one was like the other. Today i decided to treat myself to some new golf balls and quite fancied these Taylor Made balls. When i got on the course i completely changed my mind. These balls go longer and straighter off mishits, which most of mine were. I would throughly recommend these balls to anyone, i dont think i will ever play lake balls again, to be honest i dont think ill play any ball other than this again,
Just curious to hear anyone elses thoughts on these balls

I bought a box of the normal Burner balls and really liked them. Found them straight and long but now I can get PX3s for £10.00 a dozen the £20.00 price tag seems a little excessive. If they were in the same bracket as balls like the AD333 or DX2 soft then I would be more tempted to use them on a regular basis.

I read an article about how/why Taylor Made are trying to raise the standing of the new balls. I'm sure they are excellent.....I'd probably try them if they were a bit cheaper.....
find one you like and stick with it....I'm playing all sorts a.t.m. and can't decide.

If you can find some of last years TM blacks they are top drawer, just as good as V1x's to my mind, and they dont spin as much.

It is such a comptetive part of the market the mid range sector that I'm surprised they are as expensive as they are. I haven't hit one yet but if they are competing with the NXT and AD333 (not to mention the new Titleis PTS just released) they need to be pretty special to warrant the price

To be fair they are probably not special enough to warrant the price. Charge £15.00 and they are a good ball but they ain't £5.00 better than DX2 softs, AD333s etc (especially when you think that the extra fiver is becuase the box has Taylormade on it). Having found PX3s for £9.99 I am set for most of the summer now.

Found one of these in Florida, and was quite excited about trying it out (sad, I know). Hit one drive with it (ok, fairly long, straight), then hooked the bejazus out it with my 5 iron, never to be seen again.

Sorry, can't form a valid opinion from that.
