Why couldnt i hit it?.....Ill tell you why.....Because my clubface was looking at it.....Muppet....
Iv spent the past year arsing with my swing my grip and all manner of other stuff only to figure out today what Justone has been blue in the face from saying for ages.....
I was missing my target because the clubface was pointing at it.....NOT........Where i wanted the ball starting....
So im just back from the range from milling 6 iron after 6 iron with lovely 5 and 10 yard draws and not a sign of a socket ball in sight.....
Why has it taken me until now to figure out this.....
With all the talk of the new ball flight laws over the forum these past few months one would think that it might sink in....But Ooooooh Nooooooo.....Not with yours truely until tonight....Gobshite.....
Ok i tell a little white lie....I did have 3 out of the first dozen or so balls i hit go straight right but after that it was weh Heeeeeyyyyyyyyy....
Oh and not a shank in sight either after planting my weight firmly on my left side at address and keeping it there.
Albeit i did address the ball more out towards the toe tonight as well...
Im not sure if it was a weight issue, having the clubface excessively closed all along thinking this was right or a mix of both but it seems to have sorted itself.....I just hope it remembers this on the course
