this is what i love about chipping! everyone has their own way of doing it but the principle stays the same.

1. weight forward
2. dont let the clubhead pass the hands.

luke plays the sweeping motion. i think there is a lot less margin for error when playing this type of shot. if you dont use the bounce correctly then you are looking at a bladed ankle breaker flying across the green.

Thanks for the help all, definitely needed after playing today!

Some interesting videos there and at least gives me something to work on rather than just practising the wrong thing (i.e. what I'm doing now....)
