I changed my irons not long ago and really considered these but the shaft is the most important part of the club and without being able to get a proper fitting I didn't want to risk it. Pity as they look lovely.

That's my main concert too, price is appealing but not being able to try out definitely is off putting.

201's look lovely £599 for forged irons 4-PW. You can upgrade shafts as well, so pay for a shaft fitting and then buy the Takomo's, for less than half the price of equivalent TaylorMade's. (y)

Not Takomo but my usual PP bought a set of Caley 101T and really likes them. Similar to my i525s in terms of size and top line.

He bought the set with 3 wedges for, I think, £649. And they look the part. Very similar to the Takomo, like they are the Hanpins of golf clubs.

Way less grooves on the face though, not sure if that affects them but definitely wider groove gapping.

I’ve put quite a bit of effort into researching these clubs . Watched numerous videos by James Robinson , Average Golfer, PXG , and all give outstanding reviews. But I still can’t pull the trigger and buy some . I feel as though I at least need to see the 101s or 202s in my hand before I buy some . They come with the choice of 8 different shafts, Lamkin grips and even the choice of buying just the heads and putting your own shafts on them ..My other choice is going to get fitted at Scottsdale and pay on interest free credit for something like Taylormade 779s at double the price .
Everything they test is great, yt is just a marketed place for cheap advertising. Scottsdale is a must before you buy, can you hit off grass at all there❓
