Any good?

I seem to recognise the name as a putter guru of years gone by. Have I got the right bloke?

And more importantly, are his puters any good?

I went to purchase a putter from direct golf tried these out and they were ok but i thought they were a bit expensive - After a while i ended up with a YES! and they are pretty good! Reasonable price also providing you dont go after the forged models!

If you go for a ad Moore try a few models out then purchase via internet thats what id do tend to be cheaper!!

Direct golf in Tunbridge Wells have taken over an old Navada Bobs and are flogging some stuff off cheap.

The Tad moore Putters seem to be £25 - £35.

Are they worth that kind of wonga?

For that price they are yes, where else can you get a quality putter for £25.00? I suppose it goes back to the old 'Can I get the ball into the hole with it' scenario. If you can it's worth it's weight in gold, if not it's not worth a tenner.

One would assume that you are no longer interested in a free, almost new, MD Golf Aladdin putter?

Oooh oooh ooooh

Mr Peevly

I forgot. :o

That looks a very nice piece of kit. Definately worth a go, please, please.

I got a text from Direct golf on Thursday about their 'cost price' sale, and just happened to be making a site inspection in Tunbridge wells later that afternoon.

I'd love to give have a go with your Alladin, though.

Cheers

:D :D :D

( PS - Thanks  )

DG will push Tad Moore putters. They are Hotblade gear. DG will push like mad on John Letters, Hotblade and Adams. I think those products are where they make most money.

Was in there yesterday casually browsing the woods. Straight away, the particularly overhelpful and pushy sales assistant thrust a John Letters 5 wood in my hand and suggested I give it a swing.
Not sure if the JL gear is any good. I always think the grips are quite large!

So what do you want me to do with it? I will be seeing James today. Do you want me to give it to him to pass on to you?
