T.G.I.F.

Girlfriends uncles wedding tomorrow at 4pm at the club so a nice round with the groom, best man etc in the morning then the wedding in the afternoon. Sunday is the St Helena Hospice day at the club so thats another full day of golf. Then on Monday fly out to the girlfriends parents Villa in Murcia for 2 weeks with the girlfriend and daughter. Life is so hard :cool:
 
Work tomorrow.
Barbecue round a mates house on Sunday afternoon after a lazy morning spent lounging around and then watching the grand prix.
No golf for me until week Sunday when I crack off down to St Mellion for a 3 night break.
Cheesed off with it at the moment, will try to rid myself of the demons by not playing
 
Members stableford tomorrow, nothing Sunday/Monday.
Currently running about getting the impreza ready for mot, new clutch and performance fuel pump today.
 
Played three rounds of golf this week,so its gonna be chill
out time with my better half,the weather forecast aint too
good though,looking foreward to another week in"brid" where
it will be a round at the KP club at pocklington on the 5th
september..
 
Iv kind of accepted that my handicap has remained in an inclined state this year :mad: but im doing my level best to get it going the other way...

Im playing in an away open singles comp tomorrow and then on sunday iv sweet talked HiD's to let me play our presidents prize.....

Iv fiddled with my swing too much this season for it to be of any benefit but its coming about slowly....Here's hoping :) :)
 
Waiting for this monster hangover to subside. Went to a 50th birthday yesterday and as I haven't had a serious drink at all in nearly 5 years it got a bit messy. Providing I recover 1st round of the Longhurst Cup (honours board event - medal) although I am significantly under prepared.
 
Scramble at Hirsel Saturday then off the see inbetweeners.

4 ball knock with mates on Sunday then undecided whether to head to boozer for drink and football or just relax but regardless I will need to go to graft on Monday at some point.

Really should just relax on Sunday as a week on Saturday will be a boozy/expensive day at Hampden. :cool:
 
Played in pissing rain this morning (37 points and a two) - went to a good golfing friend's funeral this afternoon. He played the best round of his life last Tuesday - out in 3 over gross - died suddenly at his desk at home Wednesday.
That's the way I want to go.
No comp Sunday -Roll up but without him.
 
HID's birthday today so tomorrow after going shopping for a suit (for me) then out for dinner, Sunday is a members stableford so another 0.1 back then :(
 
Possible barbeque tomorrow (it'll be a great barbeque if it rains like it did today!!!)

Saturday - Foursomes comp at a course I've never played.
Sunday - Monthly medal
Monday - Nowt
Tuesday - Dentist am (HATE going!), midweek medal pm.
Wednesday - Murphs course am, Powerplay at The Grove pm.
Thursday - Back to work. :(
 
I've got our Autumn Meeting tomorrow at 9.30 ( probably in the pissing rain like the Spring and Summer meetings ). then a few wee drinkies tomorrow night.

Sunday morning it's the usual roll up at the club and then I'd better look at hid's broken hoover. :D
