T-Bar connector on Powakaddy trolley problem

I have an intermittent problem with my electric trolley as the power cuts out and the cause of which I believe is the T bar connector because when I fiddle with it it starts up again. It looks like a sealed connector but has anyone managed to open one?

I know you can buy replacements if thats any help..

Assume you've cleaned the t-bar connectors and the battery sockets - a quick rub down with some wet and dry.

I had the same problem but it was the battery connectors that was the issue, replacement connector block is about ten quid, never gave me any trouble since.

Put a pic up of the connector and dimensions, I might have a spare one which came with a battery years ago still in its wrapping.
