Swear filter

Is there one on here or does someone get alerted?

I got a warning and edit for use of the word dick and also for the slang term for faeces.

Yet I see endless posts littered with far worse

What Boris? I'm sorry it's take your pick as far as insults to MPs go, mine was pretty lightweight in comparison.

Might be like footy you are allowed 2/3 fouls then it’s a yellow.

Nah it isn't.

Also I post on another forum where swearing is auto asterisked out , it's so OTT that it picks up bits of normal words.

I got a warning one time for unsuitable language. I didn't think it was that bad and I thought I'd got by the swear filter but I got a slap on the wrists. It didn't bother me, I don't tend to swear on forums anyway.
You want to go onto my Rugby teams fans forum. There, the swear filter subsitutes bad words for references to other clubs. e.g. one word is changed to WireFan (as in a Warrington Wolves Fan)

No, we had one on the old software, but not this version.

Sometimes it gets reported, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes we see it, sometimes we don't.

If you have a problem with swear words on the forum then please report them.

If you have an issue with a moderators decision please email mike at michael.harris@ti-media.com with your grievance.
