Well it is almost here, off for some surgery on Wednesday, on here for a few more days then a week off work to recover. No golf for 2 weeks from today :*( BOO HOO

Having my nose reshaped, my sinuses cleared out and some tissue removed to widen the passage for air in my nose.

All with the aim of making it easier for me to breath through my nose and fix all the other problems nasal polyps and sinus problems have caused me for the past 2 years.

If I am not back on the forum by Sunday then it didn't go as well as I planned.

I had my nose sorted a few years back, removal of adanoids, polyps shrunk etc was sore for about 3 weeks, then was great for a year or 2 but feel like it needs redone.
good luck fella

Best of luck my friend, sinus problems are a pain.

I've had sinus problems for years - it's the wife, she never stops "sinus a cheque for this, sinus a cheque for that" sorry! the old ones are not necessarily the best!

Yup, I had my first one in Nov 2009, lasted until Aug 1010 before the problems started again. First time around it was just polyps, this time I am having the works done!

had mine done years ago, SMR, SMD and BINA. It isn't bad, though taking out the cocaine nose plugs afterward was a bitch - imagine pulling out your toenails from the inside. a week you'll be fine.

a secondary effect of this is that once healed you won't snore - well not for a year or two anyway

Good luck with that - doesn't sound much fun. Hope it works out and you don't have to go through it again. At least it is the start of the year and most courses aren't in great nick so you're not missing much

I played South Winchester last year, nice track but we didnt have the best round due to a bit of a log jam on the first few holes. I think it was you who said that you were a member there. Not that local, I live in Sandhurst about 45 mins.

There is always a log jam, short par 4 followed by par 3.. You get used to it after a while, accept it and enjoy the round (as long as the golf is good)

had a similar op 2 yrs ago, took some bone, cartelege and other bits out. The worst bit was the removal of those plugs. I thought they were pulling my eyeballs down my nostrils :(
