As today is the longest night (or shortest day) that means each day is getting lighter now as we head back into Spring/Summer and a new Golf season. Looking forward to a great and positive year for us all.:clap:

Soon be shorts weather :)

Either way, we're just about at that point when evening golf isn't a forgotten memory. The way I've always looked at it, get January out of the way with the long wait to payday, Xmas bills and usually some crap whether chucked in too. February is a nice short month and then we're into March. Forum meet at Woburn to look forward to, first signs of growth around the course, the greens being tined ready for the summer and then at the end of March the big change in the clocks. Soon be here

And you forgot the best thing of all. RUN on the fairways. And coming in as clean as you went out.

Where getting better weather now then we bloody do in the summer!

Supposed to be around 11c here tomorrow (or should I say today) with a light wind and a bit overcast and it's looking half decent for the rest of the week and next week! :)

whoa up there horsey ;)

technically, tomorrow is the day when the sun is at it's lowest point in the southern hemisphere, so in reality, it'll be Friday before the summer starts ;)

See here http://www.cru.uea.ac.uk/~timo/sunclock.htm

That saved me being too anal........ :whoo:

I've been looking forward to this day for so long, my drive too and from work is dark all the way at the moment, but will start getting brighter every day from tomorrow

Shame about the Woburn meet, was going to put my name down, specially since I live about 5 miles away, but am flying off to Japan the day after, so can't get the time off....
