Sub 70 669 CB 7-iron
KBS TGI 80 stiff flex graphite shaft
Standard length (+0.5 inch longer than steel standard length)
2° upright lie angle
Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 midsize grip

I bought it as an individual club from Sub 70 for £100 to test with a view to buying the full set. While the graphite really reduces impact on hands and elbows, the profile of the TGI is so steel-like that I think it actually plays stiffer than my usual steel C-Taper Lite 110 stiff flex in my Mizuno irons.
As a result I then bought the same but in the 70 Regular. I liked it so much that I’ve just ordered the rest of the set.

If you fancy trying Sub 70 but haven’t had a chance and aren’t willing to take a chance on a £600 set of irons without testing then this is a great way to try it out.
It’s probably hit about 20 balls out on the course.
£75 including UK postage.

Hopefully you’ll keep it and buy the rest of the set around it, which the Sub 70 website allows.
If not, hopefully you’ll stick it on here for £25 less than you paid me and the circle continues.
