Strong hybrid question

I currently use a 19 degree Callaway x2 Hot regular shafted hybrid. With a decent swing it goes up to about 210 yards. My 3 wood is a Mizuno MX 700 and goes up to 230 yards

I'd like to find a hybrid that could replace the 3 wood but it needs to be as easy to hit as the Callaway but as long as the Mizuno - any ideas?

Try the XR 5 wood tomorrow - I think you may be pleasantly surprised....

Or a semi disabled poor excuse for a single digit golfer, complete with a short flat swing and .......

!

Have you been following me ?

Shaft seems too long and the head is too small on a club that is going to be hit a long way. I've since moved to various other options but the r11 3 wood has been a revelation for me. Hits a lovely safe fade.

I can understand the OP's logic but I would think a strong 4W or similar may give a better option. Just my opinion and if the OP is happy with his choice and can control the strong 2H then I hope he finds what he's looking for

Thanks guys, plenty of suggestions and things to consider and try, I'm in no hurry and intend to consider the alternatives that are available before I rush headlong in!

I went to Callaways Kings of Distance and they didn't have any strong rescue clubs on show but they did have a 3 wood in the XR range that was as easy to hit and, whilst the 40 mph winds made it difficult to assess true distances, it was just what I'm thinking of for the bag

I shall have to get my pro to mock one up for a proper test
