I purchased this brand new just under a year ago,, probably been used about a dozen times and decided to pack in.
I rang the customer services number as it came with a 12 month guarentee and was told it was nothing to do with
them get in touch which whom i purchased it from. Fuming i rang Greg Nicholson golf in manchester and explained what
had happened and was told this was'nt the first time this had happened. He rang Stowamatic and even though i had a receipt
and the trolley was still under warranty they still would'nt help???? So, what else could i do? Greg Nicholson could'nt have
done enough he was excellent and i have had to purchase a new battery and charger from him, still not cheap but cheaper
than a new trolley so fingers crossed it should be ok. As for STOWAMATIC i would seriously steer clear and i am currently
seeking legal advice because surely they should have done something with a valid receipt and warranty certificate????????

If its still under warranty it is upto Greg Nicholson golf to sort you out as you bought it from him.

It is then upto him to fight with stowamatic to rectify the problem.

Take it back to Greg Nicholson to sort out.

Speak to Sefton trading standards I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction legal wise.

Speak to local trading standards as I would have thought Greg Nicholson would have to have the opportunity to rectify the problem under guarantee at no additional cost and then fight it out with Stowmatic themselves

he wants 120 for a new battery and charger and says thats the lowest he can go but its not
the point legally and out of pincipal i should'nt have to otherwise whats the point in the warranty???

I'd tell Greg Nicholson to whistle for £120.

You've bought it off him and within the 12 month warranty period any faults he has to sort out by law. It is then upto him to deal with the manufacturer to be reimbursed etc.

I would be inclined to call trading standards in the morning, then take the faulty item back to Greg Nicholson for him to repair or replace.

Whatever you do, o not give him another penny. This is his problem to sort out and you should not be out of pocket.

I purchased this brand new just under a year ago,, ............. i have had to purchase a new battery ........

not trying to put a dampner on the (usual) forum dive in but don't Stowmatic (and many others) have a specific shorter period warranty on the battery? 6 months rings a bell?

the question of whether the unit is fit for purpose then becomes a valid question, but these battery units are (all) built to a common power/load/weight/charge cycle formulae.

I would never buy anything from Greg Nicholson Golf ever again. I bought a limited edition driver from him a few years back which came in a special box with limited edition balls and tees included. He charged my credit card about £15 more than the stated price and the tees were missing from the box. He 1st tried to say the extra £15 was for the headcover, which was nonsense as was clearly included in price, he then said he'd return the extra charge to my card and post the missing tees. Both never materialized despite numerous phone calls, he then promised to send me a box of pro v1 as compensation, no surprise that they never showed up either. I gave up contacting him after about a month and put it down to experience. Wouldn't expect any joy from him, his customer service is shocking.
