Stop press....Murph & Rickg finally win a 4BBB match......

I'm not sure what, if anything, I contributed to this match. I halved the third, and that was about it.

I'm not sure why I always play like a monkey when partnering rick. May be its because I don't actually want him to win?

ok....so this wasnt anything important like the Volvo knockout or Race to Dubai.......it was just a friendly? knock against Gary (region3) andhis mate Andy.
We played at the Buckinghamshire where Gary is playing his Trilby Tour event today (good luck Gary)...........
The course was in absolutley amazing condition with the greens running fast and true....we played off the white tees in a testing breeze and scorching conditions. The rough was absolutely brutal and a dropped shot (or 2) at best if you were unlucky enough to be in it.

1st 4 holes were halved but then me and Murph went on a run that saw us 4 up at the turn and we were never in trouble after that closing out the match 5&4 on the 14th.

Some of you will remember Andy from Beau Desert....he was the one that lost his wallet......went out in the buggy to search the course and eventually found his wallet ..........in the buggy!!

As usual the company was excellent as was some of the golf....we also kept an individual stableford score, but modesty prevents me from revealing that I had a level gross front 9 for 22 points, coupled with a less desirable 16 point back 9..............still..38 off the whites on a course set up for the Trilby Tour was very pleasing.......

If Gary can keep it out of the rough today, he will do well...there WILL be some low scores today I reckon.

So me and Murph CAN actually win a match it would appear, although Murphs new nickname for me is Kryptonite......... :ears:

Looking forward to the return match.........

I was lucky enough to be in the group with Gary and Andy at Beau, the bloke cracked me up several times, great company

Hope Gary does well today as we have our Volvo pairs Sunday and he has to carry me again :D

Very well played Rick.
Murph, it was good to see you again... :)

We was gubbed, well and truly, and set the tone for the TT round yesterday.
At least I know who to blame ;)
