Anyone got any experience of this club and course? Thoughts?

I had my company golf day here back in September as a colleague is a member there and I wasn't impressed. there are a few decent holes but it pretty characterless and wide open and the greens were awful.
the food after was good though!

I have only played it once and was some time ago but think it's quite a good course. Although it is quite straight up and down kind of course. Typical for Essex. Hoever there are a few holes that stand out, a short par 3 over water is one that stands out.

The clubhouse and food afterwards are also very good.
