For the past week I've had mental pains that started off in my right shoulder that no matter what way my arm was positioned it felt like it had been dislocated. It has now moved across my back and is just below my neck and really affects my head movement left right and up.
I've tried everything, ibuprofen, cocodemol, wife walking down my back in stilletos etc. It has eased slightly since last sunday and feel I might give today's medal a go.
I'm sure everyone has heard of the saying beware the injured golfer, anyone want to hazard a guess on score? Because i'm really not feeling confident. At worst it's .1 but will still be 9.

Ach, I thought i'd put the pictures up already! :D

6 double bogey 6's in a round of 13 over (pulled second shots due to gammy swing), apart from that quite happy that a half swing got me round intact.
Now where were we?, smiffy in high heels?

Dislocated my right shoulder 6 times and my left once very very painfull, sounds like its just a strain so rest should do the trick, you would certainly not be playing if it had dislocated.

Absolutely matey, I never did anything to dislocate it, just had thst feeling that the arm wasnt sat right at the socket, probably whatever way I fell asleep on the sofa that night and its slowly going away.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Be careful and hopefully you'll be able to hit full and unhindered shots soon. Might be worth getting it checked out though in case it is something more serious

Cheers Homer, Steve, I dont have any gel, got a handful of cuprofen. Taken 2 today so far and to be honest it hasnt helped much.
I think its time for a sabbatical, should a week do it? :D

What you need (for future moments) is CO-DYDRAMOL. How you get some is less easy to answer.

I drove to London to play and by the time I got there, I couldn't even get out the car. I'd pulled something at the petrol station en route (not a hooker!) and an hour later was immobile.

2 co-dydramols, on the tee 2 hours later....had my P.B. score of all time.

Bad luck.

I must say, I do find it impressive you guys that can drop 12 shots on six holes and play the other 12 holes to 1. :)

Sorry my mistake, 5 double bogeys, the other was a 6 at the par 5 16th. The more I look at it though, the happier I am with it as it was the 5 teeshots which I nearly let go of the club each time that put me in trouble left of the fairway. At our club, left is always trees.

My game usually involves at least a birdie per round, a load of pars and a nightmare hole somewhere.

If you are being made to sleep on the sofa you should be careful with those stilettos.

TWM, lol, the sofa is more comfortable, I can stretch out and still not touch the ends!

Checked in on the comp there, I shot 84 with a gammy neck, sss 71 so thought i'd be getting .1 back. CSS moved to 73 which meant I was buffer zoned and H'cap unaffected! Sweet!
