Bit of thawing in Leeds, I've just cleared the path easily. After 2pm when the temp drops it will freeze again.
another 20cm due tonight though, especially in kent direction. Metcheck even reckons here in NI has a 100% chance of snow though its not as bad as some of the other parts of the UK. Then rain due from Tuesday.

Unless we have 20* temp for a few days i can't see this snow/ice moving off the course for at least a fortnight, though i hope i'm wrong!

there's been a light thaw today clearing snow of the shubbery but it's just started with some very light snow, forecast over the next day or so is snizzle.

We've not had any more snow and what is here seems to be clearing. Hopefully get out next weekend.

The snow hadnt cleared from the course from the first lot before xmas, so I doubt the course will be open until feb sometime.
It has started to thaw a little and we didn't get the snow forecast last night. Its still trying to snow on and off but hopefully we're over the worse. I don't think the course will be open for at least another 2 weeks as it is pretty deep and then will thaw into already high water tables. To be honest I'll be happy just to get to a range and swinging a club again

its been raining here in malton for the last 1 1/2 hrs,my mate was told by one of the greens staff at our club they were hoping to be back open around the 20th,i reckon we'll be lucky to get on for the beginning of february

Managed to get over to Top Golf in Watford today. Nice to swing the sticks again. Only targets up to 100 yards were registering scores, but this at least allowed some work on the short game. Heated bays as well!!

Had some rain here last night so starting to turn to slush. More snow forecast for tonight and even when it does thaw course will be very wet so can't see it been open this side of Feb
