Has anyone used the 3 day ticket for unlimited golf at St Andrews, a couple of us are heading up in a few weeks and are contemplating using this to play a couple of the courses each day?

It is a bargain, and i think you can pay an extra £28 to include the Castle course.We are going up next year, but as we want to try and play the Old course, we have decided against the 3 day ticket.

Our plan is to go in the ballot for the Old course & use the 3 day ticket for the rest of the time, not sure how you go about sorting your tee-times & availability (don't want to get the ticket & only be able to play a couple of rounds with it.

you will not get to play together if you join the ballot and some of you will be off at 7 in the morning and other at 3 in the afternoon.

sorry alex ...that`s not true ! if u put in for the ballot -u`ll be asked what time u`d like and ur given the options of am pm or any ... GCD
