Srixon Z575 Driver

Anyone using the above driver? If so what did you change from and are you using the stock shaft?

Mate i played with from Dornoch on Sunday was using one. He had a blue Miyazaki shaft in it, not sure what. was quite impressed with it, looked nice behind the ball

i have it with a RST Mamiya Shaft in. I also have the weights in the head set as 3/3.

Overall I get along well with it, in comparison to the Cobra, Titleist, TMR15, JPX850 I compared it against (all used the RST Mamiya shaft so no difference there) it was as long as any of them and dispersion for me was as tight as the TM which was the second best in dispersion. I just felt I could get more from the Z545 in terms of forgiveness.

Out on the course it has been really good but my swing has been getting worked on so of late I've not played a huge amount of competitive golf. My only gripe has been that I don't believe the finish is great. I have the ZF45 and ZH45. All three clubs have suffered badly from paint wear on the sole plate and paint chipping on the hybrid. Srixon to date have'nt resolved it for me.

The limited reviews i can find seem very good. Problem being finding one to test. Tempted to take a chance for the price though.

yes Srixon stuff is hard to come by. It would seem Tain sell them, which i didn't know....likes the look of the irons too but would have meant a long drive south just to try.

I hit one today funnily enough during my lesson.

I don't like drivers without an alignment aid but other than that it looked OK. To hit, it was very dull off the face, distance was a lot less than my existing driver despite being 1.5inches longer.
