hi guys long story short subscribed to get free hex black tours sat like an ejit waiting for 6 weeks to be told after i phoned they are out of stock, i have been offered srixon z star golf balls instead

has anyone any experience using them?? i normally use nike balls or callaways, never used srixon aside from the odd ad333

any insight would be much appreciated

I've used them, I'd say they are streets ahead of any Nike ball.

General consensus - not everyone though - is that all Callaway balls are a bit "clicky" especially off the putter.
The Z-Star is as good as the ProV1 - and stays whiter longer!

A good alternative - you'll not be being sold short..

I've been trying a couple of them in the tour yellow version for my last couple rounds. Very impressed so far & may change to them full time

i swop between them and pentas , find z stars very good for me, pro vs and 1x spin to much for me and i dont mean on the green more when there snap hooking or sliceing

Very good ball. Comparable to Pro Vs but significantly cheaper.

My ball of choice, after Cally Hex Black - which breaks the mould for Cally balls imo.

I have been using them for a year and they are a quality ball. Prefer them to the pro v1 X. Still go a long way off the tee and are good round the green and for putting.

I'm using the AD333, but have used a couple of the Z Stars and they seem like a decent enough ball but as other have said the Z Stars are a little pricey so I'll stick to the AD333 specially as sports direct do 24 for £14.99

I love the z star! Got my hole in one with it! Very good ball! I've used the majority on top brand balls but I am a big lover of the Wilson staff tour balls check em out!

24 for £14.99?! I bought 12 for that price for not long ago, bugger!

Been using them since February, lovely ball. I find they are longer of the tee and better with the putter than the AD333 which I used for a year.

Like others, I prefer them to the prov's as I tended to lose them less!
