Interesting move for Barry Ferguson and I think it's a good one for him.
He could do what Paul Hartley did at Alloa. His appointment will create a lot of interest in the club and he may be able to call upon some of his old Rangers mates to give him a season's effort- only if Clyde can match his expectations in terms of wage budget.
He has a chequered past in Scotland, particularly after the whole Scotland ban thing and as he's cutting his teeth in a managerial capacity, this will still be a big test for him as failure will leave him struggling for work. But, if he succeeds, then the gamble would have paid off and an SPL club might come in for him next year- maybe even The Rangers.

Certainly one of the most talented scottish players of his generation (if not the most), it'll be interesting to see how he does in management.
Good luck to him, it would be good for the game up here if we could produce another good manager with an eye for developing talent, wouldn't it?

We do seem to be producing another generation of good managers.

Clyde are totally skint, no longer the main tenant at their stadium. The local boys club here in Cumbernauld can afford to rent it, Clyde can't.
Small club trying to survive for reasons best known to themselves.
