Spurs new ground

Couple of things, firstly you said piped in noise. That's gotta be attributed to atmosphere surely?

secondly, I support neither Spurs or Chelsea.

Funnily enough, wasnt it Arsenal who piped in atmosphere, when they rebuilt the North bank back in the 90's?

And, to be fair to Spurs, I think they have one of the best atmospheres in the Prem, well better than Arsenal's.

Don't forget about the non black faces in the crowd on the hoardings, it only got changed when Ian Wright mentioned it :smirk:

The proper old stadiums are changing very quickly, poor old Everton will be the only ones with an antique stadium

I think the sound dig was pointed at chelsea not spurs, but still. A team who played at Highbury Library can't comment too much imo.

To my knowledge Chelsea do not use piped in sound and virtually every game at Stamford Bridge is sold out. Overall a gooner being wide of the target, there's a surprise

I wasn't saying they had. Someone suggested they should.

The he only thinks that hurts Chelsea image re fan support imo is those lovely plastic fans lol

He will have to sneak some palace gear into the stadiums structure somehow. Classic rival supporters revenge.

Nah then LT your a bad man for suggesting that goes off.

Apart from rag fans putting Utd shirts in the foundations of the Etihad when it was being extended.
My lad before he was a class one Lorry driver was a plater, welder, fabricator by trade. Anyway his company got the contract to build Leicester Tigers new massive stand. Some of the lads working on the stand were big Nottingham fans and put a shirt or two in the structure. They were laughing about it and one of the gaffers heard what they had done and made thm unwell it and take them out. Miserable sod.

To be fair I said Spurs would fill their stadium, it was Chelsea I said couldn't

Chelsea will fill it. They may have to lower some prices, but they will fill it.

Their "profile" 20 years ago may not of, but their profile now will deffo fill it.

For balance, in the 80's I thought Chelsea had some of the loudest and more loyal supports from London.

It looks like my son is going to be the QS for his company on the site - like me, he's a staunch Palace fan so I suspect the very tight deadlines could be over run by years cos we don't care

I saw the plans and worried over a clear structural fault ............... some eejet's got the seats facing the pitch ! :whoo:
