Snowfall definitely came in March last year.

It was much colder at this point in February though.

Looks like we are currently having an early spring - which is probably bad news for some botanists or farmers, but decent news for Golfers - assuming it doesn't rain too much.

I managed to sneak a game in on 26th Feb, then on 1st March there was a hefty snow covering in most of Scotland.

Beast from the East fully arrived Thursday 1st March - there were a couple of pre lim flurries during the week as we had our little trip to Wales cancelled on the Monday

But remember having to leave work early on the Thursday due to snow and then Friday as well it hit bad

Definitely cold rain today. Rocked up after work to hit a bucket of balls at the club with the sun poking through. Had been there ten minutes and it started lashing down. Adjourned to the bar and debating whether to invest in a pre-season swing MOT next weekend. Got very cold very quickly when the rain blew through

and ps... last March on the Forum Trip was as cold as I've ever been on a golf course!

....heck, at Siloth, even the Geordies were wearing bobble hats! :)
Spring starts around early July up here and winter about 3 weeks later ;)
