Got 9 holes in after work tonight, in short sleeves.
I didn't even leave work early either, was out of the office at 5:30, home at 6, teed off at 6:30. I didn't think I would be able to get there after work without leaving early because of the traffic. This is going to be a regular thing

First round in short sleeves today and getting roll on the drives couple of 265's and a good few 250's was flapping a couple of weeks ago about my short drives. Missed two 3 foot birdies though :rant: sanded greens is my excuse :rofl:

Things can only get better :thup:

Hit the range tonight. Went outside and still a strong wind blowing

Got sunburn at the weekend but wind was very strong, it was tough going.

Finished at 5, on the range at 6, hit about 30 balls then went round the 9 hole course

Hit a few nice shots,and smashed a few drives, life is good :fore:

Played today up at Appleby GC which is exposed to say the least, still had big snow drifts in the surounding hills but the course was fine...... apart from the wind!

Me and Kellfire hit 2 perfect drives on a par 4 into the wind, mine went 155 yards and his went 170 yards!

290 yard par 4's felt like they were playing like par 5's.

Apart from the wind and the few showers early on it was still pretty warm and it kinda felt like summer is on it's way.

Played 18 on Sunday at Stocksfields in short sleeves. It was blowing a hooly but was very mild. Even had a pint on the sun deck watching people coming off the 18th

We're still quite damp after the Friday/Saturday rain.
Getting warmer and a decent breeze should help dry it out.
Nice to play without several layers on!
