Over the last couple of weeks I've taken Dad (91) to have his ears cleaned out and for a hearing test.
He needs hearing aids.
Does anyone have any experience of Specsavers hearing aids, please?
With 6 own brand models from £500 to £2000 and no prior knowledge of such things it's a little confusing. We can't ask any of Dad's friends or family of his generation for advice because he's the last man standing.

I waited around 5 months for an appointment to be fitted for conventional hearing aids before I gave up & went to Specsavers. I got an appointment within 2 weeks & walked out wearing them. They're NHS issue & work perfectly well. Eventually, I needed one repaired but when I went along the technician said I'd better have an up to date pair & I got those on the spot too. Couldn't fault them. Many people say that the NHS issue are as good as the fancy expensive ones. Quite unobtrusive too.
