It’s quite different from Torrequebrada, lots of shots from high plateau tees to fairways far below. Torrequebrada has more history but can be ridiculously slow. Course for course I’d prefer Torrequebrada.
For good courses Sotogrande area is cracking, La Reserva, San Roque Old, Sotogrande and, if you can get on, Valderama - prices are ludicrous now though.

Marbella is really quite hilly.

Marbella is very nice but very hard. Front 9 up there with the hilliest I’ve played. Tee shots over ravines and tree tops.
