Southerness V silloth

Just in from silloth. Course is quality thoroughly enjoyed it. Few points in my opinion - greens are more receptive and I enjoyed them better than southerness. Fairways however are not a patch on southerness , they felt like more of a parkland course. Loved the dunes being around the course, kind of felt like turnberry. Can see why the English amatuer championship etc has been there.

Spoke to pro and he advised us someone there was -5, that's mental round there.

£5.10 for bacon roll and 1 cup of tea tho!!! Shocking

Best Bacon roll I've had was at Silloth, (best 2 actually )

They were magnificent! I had 2 Bacon & Cumberland sausage, Rolls slightly toasted on the inside & lashings of Brown sauce.
I really need to get back up there
Was the brown sauce with the tea Dave

anyway scratch open 2nd May £29 for 36 holes , doesn't get any better than that, I would love a bit of that but at Silloth on the 9th May.

Can't believe I'm getting Brew abuse. I'll be reporting you and Glyn to the Mods for bullying and request a 1 week ban from that boring Football thread.
;)
You cant do that to LB, A week off the football thread, That's going to be the end of him :D
