Sons of Anarchy

Agree on the Sopranos but SOA a touch better than the others mentioned here

Don't get me wrong SOA was very good, but some of the shootouts were a bit like watch in The A-Team.

Van pulls up next to motorcycles, van side door opens, gunmen fire Uzis at bikers,no one gets hit.

Exactly what I said to the Mrs the other night. Brilliant programme, but they need to practice their shooting!

As far as TV drama's go, it was a good one to watch. As in most TV series that end up running a long time, there will always be the odd episode that doesn't quite meet your expectations but, overall it was worth sticking with, been a fan from start to end. If you want something better, then Justified is the way to go.

I didn't think I would like it and then watched all seven series in a few months this year. A very good show with enough to keep you coming back for some good, light relief. Not the deepest of story lines but you do find yourself wanting good things to happen to these murdering, drug running bikers!

The last scene is quite possibly the worst ending to any TV show EVER though. Bad idea, badly filmed and just stupid.

I half agree with you but I do understand the story the tried to portray in it but they could have done it better.

It was a throwback to the first scene in episode one but I felt it was such a cop out and something said character would NEVER have done.

I am now well into this - onto series 4 - and have changed my views. I have gone from thinking it was fantastic to thinking it is pretty daft.

Some of the plot lines are made just too obvious and the level of exposition in the dialogue to ensure that the redneck audience keeps up with the twists and turns has become problematic too.

I will watch it to the end as I want to see how everything pans out but this certainly isn't a classic series. It is actually rather silly and is as annoying as it is enjoyable.

Yes, I can already see signs of this happening. Only watched 15 or so episodes and just about everything that could happen in a small town has happened. Credibility stretching but I'm enjoying it so will continue.

That's it. I've watched all seven series in a month and a half. The ending was OK and sad, if not a bit predictable. It was a series I really liked but didn't love, getting a bit frenetic in the last series. Surprised there's anyone left in Charming...:D

Apparently Kurt Sutter is looking at a prequel series from the Vietnam days and the beginning of SAMCRO and is hoping he can get Brad Pitt to play John Teller
