I've had my Ping G20's about 4 months now and love them!

I was cleaning them the other day after a few holes on the course and noticed a couple of them made a creaking noise near the club head when I flexed the shaft a little. Does this signal a fault with the shaft?

I went out this evening for a practice session and noticed the creaking again on my 7 iron on the follow through. Has anybody else had this phenomenon or is it unique? Don't know what it could be, would it be best taking them back to where I bought them to let them take a look?

Never known it myself. But I would take them back. "Better safe than sorry". Plus you will never feel happy until you know one way, or the other?

That sounds more like the head is slightly loose, might be worth getting them checked incase some of the epoxy hasn't sealed properly. You could end up with a head flying off

Send them back to ping Gaz. Its something to do with the glue. A fella up at the club had this happen with his G10's. He sent them back twice before ping said it was a QA issue and sent him a new set.

Agree with send them to Ping, best customer service barr none. They will sort them out toot sweet!

Do you use very hot water when cleaning your clubs? It used to be an issue with clubs years ago, if you used very hot water as the epoxy used to soften and loosen. Can't say I ever heard of it as a Ping issue but it used to be quite common with other manufacturers. I think it was because us Ping users were to tight to pay for hot water.

If this is the problem you will have to have them re glued by Ping. Either way your clubs will be making a visit to Ping. It may not be an issue now with club heads, but I would be surprised if it isn't.
