Solstice Comps ?

Anyone playing in anything special this weekend ?

I'm playing in our Summer Solstice early tomorrow morning -
Clubhouse for 5am - Compulsory pint before play I understand.....and a Shotgun start at 5.30am.
Followed by an MF English Breakfast washed down with Champagne, and whatever else follows after, which can get a bit messy so I'm told....... *hic*

I'll be diving out while I can walk however, out at a big marquis event too in the evening and HID wont be too happy if I'm pished before I go !!

Anyone else ?

Nothing this year for me, but Stromness GC on the Orkney Isles has a midnight golf 'competition'. Again a shotgun start and 18 holes, tee off about 8.30-9pm. It's more of a social / pish up than serious competition, but gets a good turn out each year.
