looked at it directly as the cloud was a filter- nearly all the sun was covered (94%) but it was as dark as a normal dreich Scottish day- bit of an anticlimax really

Well it came and it went and fat chance I had seeing of seeing it as my part of Berkshire wreathed in thick black cloud!

Nothing at all to be seen from Central London, definitely didn't need special eclipse glasses, think the cloud coverage we had was that thick we barely registered the drop in light!

Had good view of it and on the clubhouse there were some weird in a good way shadows.
