Gutted I'm not in the uk to watch this. I loved the one in 99. I remember I was at home with my cousin shaving my head waiting for a tumble dryer to get delivered. I had half a shaved head when I answered the door and he eclipse was half way through. Weird standing in the street in the dark leaning on a tumble dryer with half a shaved head.

Wow. Sun briefly came out here so got the white paper/pin prick projector and it was effective BUT too tempting just to take the teeniest peek without! Pretty

We have huge windows with a view across the City and there 20 lined up looking at the smog!
we must be having it at the moment its pitch black, just caught a glimpse as the cloud moved.

Just played 9 Holes in kent. Meant to be pretty good here but such thick cloud dark cloud cover not much happened, things went marginally darker but that's about it!

The cloud broke a little to see the partial eclipse - I was also dark for a short period

I was quite surprised to find we had a clear sky. I made a pinhole camera and had some glasses from the Sky at Night magazine, if I'd been more confident in the weather forecast I could have got a better setup for taking pictures. Still pretty neat though.
