Club Champion
Went for another swift 9 after work tonight.
Last night played well, but poor score (hitting the ball well, but a few sloppy shots here & there) - ended up on 48 with 18 putts.
Tonight, started in hte worst way possible - tripple bogey on the 1st. Things picked up, and it got to the point of writing the score on the card and not looking at any previous scores - 1 hole at a time... Rolled in a 10 footer on the 9th for a 40... 4 over. Absolutely delighted - other than the 1st, every part of my game clicked. Driving long & straight, good irons, chipping & putting.
Fantastic night.
Got home and when cooking, went to get something from a cupboard and sliced the top of my finger on a set of blades on the food processor. Fek. I don't think I can grip a club - have 9 holes on the par 3 course tomorrow so will see how it goes - for now its throbbing like a throbbing thing.
