Talking of Camberley, I have been having discussions with the management regarding the possibility of holding an event there next year, I will post some options in a day or two for you all to vote on.

I would have thought that as yours was one of the biggest societies Blackmoor most probably had this year Rich you could be given the opportunity of entering 2 teams? Especially with you being a member as well.
Bit unfair that you may have the other teams made up of people who might have qualified as a "society" but only had say 12 or 16 players. You had 48!!
I'd be a bit miffed if I didn't get to play with you.

Just an update on this event. Tony (Pokerjoke) has had to pull out due to work commitments, but fortunately Steve (Swinger) has stepped in, so any long drive competition is in the bag !

I will get full details of the event at the beginning of next week. It is likely to be a morning round tee off about 9.00/9.30. Bacon rolls on arrival and two course meal after the round. 4 ball better ball, £34 per person.

Accommodation could be provided for those that are house trained. Sorry Smiffy.

It is possible we may be able to submit a second team, so anyone else that would like to play, let me know.

Understandable. Not quite sure your the man for the job though after what I have seen and heard!

Just to confirm the GM team is : Smiffy, Swinger, TXL, and Pie Man. I will be there to lend support, and give Smiffy stick if he doesn't pull his weight !

Are we going to have team colours ? Smiffy did mention white chinos and green tshirts.
