So who else isn't golfing today

im not playing today as my knee is still knackered from my accident in august .dont envisage playing again till at least march next year.
play well if you are going out.

I'm not playing as only have five day membership. Did manage to play Mon, Tues and Fri so not all bad. Have to make do with the Nedbank instead.

It's dangerous to go outside round my way just now. Flooding and road closures, traffic chaos etc. so no golfing this weekend again.

We're doing well,no one as said that they enjoy the challenge of playing in strong wind & manufacturing different shots :blah:

Not playing today, but have a 3 ball arranged for Sunday at Playsport East kilbride . I'm thinking it's doubtful, even though it's built on a sand base .

Same around my way, not looking forward to driving into work tonight and the drive home tomorrow morning.

i feel so sorry for all of you who are having to have a day or two off cos its a bit windy :o

It's only a bit of wind - great fun to be had , lots of imagination playing shots today , rain stayed away as did the fair weather golfers.

Drying the course up lovely it is :D

Played a really tight 4BBB £ £ £ and lost on the last , great fun shaping shots, knock down six irons to go 80 under the wind etc , happy to be 6 over

I've not been near a course in 3 weeks. It's just too wet, windy, cold and generally miserable to bother. Been visiting the driving range a couple of times a week instead and am getting some decent practice time in.

We played our last final today and it was beyond playable .
I hit a drive into wind and on landing it was bouncing towards me. 23 points off a 3/4 handicap. IMPOSSIBLE.

A drive bouncing towards you ?!

Had arranged to host a couple we met playing Kings Lynn Open early this year so out we went. Only saw 4 others on the course! Good company and good fun battling the conditions. 9th hole and 90yds into the teeth of the gale so tried a 5i knock down shot - nailed it and landed and stopped pin high! Crazy golf...wind off the left final 4 holes and hit a hooky draw on every tee which held its line - all 3 pp watched their balls slide across the sky disappearing out of view - brilliant!! Kind of fed up with the wind this year though and not sure it helps my game/balance/rhythm/tempo etc etc.
