If you haven't heard of Angine de Poitrine - well you have now. Bonkers perhaps, and very loopy, but also actually rather brilliant. Bit slow to get going? Forward 2:40. Apparently the guitar playing is microtonality...not that I'd know unless I had read it.

Love the Drama available on BBC Sounds...and so much variety. A veritable treasure trove.

It just popped up on my YouTube feed - not heard it for ages and I'd forgotten how much I liked it and this genre. From very early 80s, but this Live from last year - Shakatak..Night Birds. Just so good - has me jigging around the room.
