Played my first competition of the year, and back at the little club I started my golf at. Small but perfectly formed, Sudbrook Moor g c.
"So close" was my second shot on the 9th, my drive was not the best but ended up in the perfect place, middle of the fairway 150yds, wind off the left, (so allowed for my fade Bob,) 5 iron watched all the way, bounce bounce roll,,,,,,hit the pin and stopped about 3ft past, leaving a downhill birdie putt that I missed.
But still got par, came 2nd with 36p, can still remember when I use to get cricket scores on that hole.
