Almost at my seasons goal of single figures, started the year badly and went up to 11.3 and was getting fed up.

I had a few weeks of looking like I would get a good cut only to blow up on the final few holes, but in the last 5 rounds I have had -0.6, -0.6,+.1,+.1,-0.6.

I played in the third qualifier for club championship today and shot a scratch 76 and felt like I left 5 shots out there, I must have lipped out 5 times and left it hanging in the jaws on at least 3 occasions but over all one happy bunny it's heading the right way at 9.7 one more good round and I'm there.

Cheers guys, played in tuesday medal this morning and shot a 78 should have been better but with any luck due to poor weather CSS might creep up to 70 and I'm there.

Well done mate, some good golf you're playing there. Where's the sudden bout of form came from? Driving? Short game?

Alan Its probably my short game I'm getting it up and down well, think it's also got a lot to do with increased confidence as I now believe I'll get it near the hole on most shots around the green.

Another factor could be the change of irons went with Titleist AP1's and am striking the ball better than ever, long may it continue mate.
